Books to Read in Quarentine

We’re all bored right now, and it’s always hard to find a good book, even if we’re stuck in Quarentine. Don’t worry, though. We’ve got you covered. Geddit? Cover-ed? Like a book cov- actually, never mind.

Inspired by ‘good books to read’ from https://travellingwithrafi.wordpress.com (my old website)

1. The Alex Rider Books

They said his uncle Ian died in a car accident. But Alex Rider knows that’s a lie, and the bullet holes in the windshield prove it. Yet he never suspected the truth: his uncle was really a spy for Britain’s top secret intelligence agency. And now Alex has been recruited to find his uncle’s killers . . .

– Stormbreaker description

This is probably my favourite book series. It follows Alex Rider through his adventures and is packed with action, adventure and sometimes very creepy stuff. I’m not going to spoil anything, but hardcore crime fans will probably love Snakehead.

2. The Harry Potter Books

This book is quite old but I still love it. If you haven’t heard of it (are you living under a rock?!) basically Harry Potter is a kid who finds out he’s a wizard. There. Just kidding. Harry Potter is a kid who’s parents died when he was little because of the evil Dark Wizard called Voldemort. He’s taken in by his aunt and uncle, and they’re horrible to him. Suddenly, letters co,e flying through the door, telling him that he’s invited to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I’m not spoiling anything, though.

The I Funny Books

I Funny is definitely what the title says. Funny, if you don’t know. Jamie Grimm is a handicapped kid comic who has dreams of big things. When he finds out there’s a comedy contest going on near him, he springs at the chance!

This book is just amazing when you’re feeling down. The jokes are mostly recycled stuff but they’re always really funny. If your day is feeling gloomy then read this book! Normally books don’t make me laugh but these ones totally do.

The Middle School Books

This is a series very similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Instead, it follows Rafe Khatchadorian. He has trouble concentrating and gets in trouble a lot. It’s always funny, even if not as funny as I Funny, but it’s always amazing to see what happens next. It’s always a page turner!

That was all for now! I hope you enjoyed this list. I actually had to rack my brain to find books. I’ll see you later, bye!
